How Do I Check It Really Is Coming?

Three things tell you more than a promise.

A specific date, not a range. A page that says 30 October is being run off a shipping schedule. A page that says eight to twelve weeks is being run off a guess.

The item still shows as pre-order after you order. If it flips to in stock a week later, either the shipment landed early, which is good, or the date was never tied to a real shipment, which is not.

A named contact who answers. Before you pay several thousand dollars against a future date, send one email and see how long the reply takes. That is the most reliable signal you will get.

Is Delivery Different on a Pre-Order?
